KAIR is an international residency program based in Košice, Slovakia, dedicated to fostering collaboration between Slovak and foreign artists across various disciplines. Since its inception in 2011, KAIR has provided artists with the opportunity to work within Košice’s unique cultural environment, realize art projects, engage with the local art scene, and present their work to both local and national audiences.

In rebranding KAIR, we drew inspiration from the feather—a metaphorical symbol of Košice, known as the “city of crows.” The feather represents creativity, freedom, and the city’s rich cultural heritage. This symbol was integrated into the new visual identity to reflect KAIR’s mission of artistic exploration and connection to Košice’s identity.
