Slovenské centrum dizajnu (SCD) is Slovakia’s largest design-focused organization, encompassing a broad range of activities—from managing galleries to hosting workshops, events, and publishing initiatives. By 2020, the complexity of this ecosystem had outgrown its existing digital platform.

Following a detailed UX analysis and strategy prepared by Lighting Beetle*, we adapted Ondrej Jób’s visual identity into a new UX/UI design. The solution is built on modular fragments, labeled as “card files,” a nod to both the visual identity and the multi-layered nature of the institution’s activities. This approach brought clarity and structure to the digital presentation while staying true to the essence of SCD’s identity.
